Portable lamps put their controls on a button or in an app. Marset sells objects people live with, and a control layer that needs explaining breaks the object.
The interaction had to be legible from the form alone, with no manual and no screen, and it had to sit inside Marset's existing design language rather than next to it.

A concept validated against the brief that produced it: it reads as a Marset product and it resolves the control problem without a screen. It is specified to the point where the next decisions, battery, cost and tooling, belong to engineering rather than to design, and that is where it stopped.
Baobé taught me that constraint breeds creativity. Working inside Marset's established language rather than from a blank slate forced more deliberate decisions, and it is a principle I have carried forward.
Taking it further would have meant electrical engineering, tooling and cost work I could not do alone. That is what pushed me toward computational and technical skills that bridge design vision and technical execution, so I could stay in the product past the concept.
