Event coordination platform for group BBQs and gatherings: guests register with one link, and dietary preferences, shopping lists, and fair cost splits are handled automatically. Validated across 3 real events with zero payment disputes.
I was treasurer of a student organisation and our BBQs were a mess of spreadsheets: who's coming, who eats what, who owes whom.
The competition is a group chat and a payment app, both already installed and free. Anything that asks an organiser to move their group somewhere new has to earn that move on the first event, not the fifth.
A React, TypeScript and Supabase platform: one registration link, dietary preferences aggregated into a shopping list, and a cost split calculated per guest. A privacy-first data model, real-time calculation, and email automation for the organiser.

Three real events run end to end with zero payment disputes. The mechanics held; the product is archived, because every event it ran was inside my own circle and it never found users beyond it.
Status: Archived. Learning project, retired once it had taught me what I built it for.
I built CoorGo to learn how to take a product from problem to production on my own, and the sharpest thing it taught me was about the process rather than the code. Shipping has become incredibly fast, and that speed carries its own risk: the "Build Trap", creating features just because we can, without validating that they solve a real problem. CoorGo fell into it by widening a sharp shopping-list problem into a generic event platform; every project since starts with who specifically hurts.
The same speed allows a different workflow, where planning happens alongside building and iterating instead of upfront. AI solves the how; the human role is knowing what to build and how to validate it.
